Security at GoTo
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to join our Security team and help us run it as a Product organization. This role is serving internal stakeholders, and not focused on Goto’s external customers.
You will work closely with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and the Security engineering team to bring a product-centric culture to the Security org. You will contribute to product initiatives and cross team collaboration, represent the Security group in the Product organization, own the security backlog, identify and solve internal customer problems, and set the product vision and priorities for the next six to twelve months with engineering stakeholders.

To achieve this goal, we are looking for a highly skilled Technical Product Manager for our CISO office to lead the evolution of Goto’s security program. You will drive a customer-focused mentality for improved scalability and streamlined operations.
Your Day to Day
As a Technical Product Manager you would be working on:
Customer relations:
- You will coordinate and align security initiatives with other cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Design, Product Management, Support, Marketing, Legal, etc.
- Your role is to team up with the CISO to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders on the security product vision, goals, progress, and feedback
Customer feedback:
- Why do some teams utilize the services the security team provides more than others? Your role is to understand the needs and pain points of internal customers and steer the security roadmap to provide the best experience.
Market analysis:
- Our employees want to do the right thing, and we need to be there to help them do the right thing. Your job is to understand what our employees are working on, and where they need the security team’s help.
Product management operations:
- Collaborate with the CISO and the security team, to represent our internal customers, to define and execute the security strategy and roadmap.
- Lead quarterly and monthly plannings and help the security teams to put in place continuous planning.
- Manage the security backlog and prioritize features and projects based on customer value, security impact, and technical feasibility.
- Set the operational procedures that our security leaders as acting product owners will execute on.
- Work closely with our agilists to measure and evaluate the outcomes and impact of security enhancements.
What We're Looking For
As a Technical Product Manager, your background will look like:
- 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner or a similar role in a software-related field.
- Experience working with agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Kanban, Jira, etc.
- Experience working for a SaaS company.
- Proven data-driven approach to decision making and execution.
- Fluency in speaking and writing in English is required.
- Knowledge of security principles, frameworks, standards, and best practices is a plus, but not required.

Annual Base Salary Range: 104,000 - 137,000 - 173,000
