Job Description
- Handling forwarding operation productivity - plan, coordinating and monitoring the inbound (freight, transportation, customs clearance, documentation and customer services)
- Ensuring daily operations (booking, follow ups, etc.) in order and keep updated/communicating with other teams members on the clients' shipment status
- Assist in handling and prepare documentations for export shipments (air, sea and courier)
- Handling in SRF (shipping request form) - collection and follow ups and in charge of SRF-confirmation booking vessel (with co-leader)
- Arrange invoices to customers, forecast, prepare budget, anaylse variances, initiate corrective actions and coordinate with Sales and other departments
- Liaise with customers - daily meeting/ telephone or emails on operational matters
- Able to meet the operation security and integrity by determining the security process and procedures are in place and all risk factors are taken into the minimum
- Ensuring the transportation (trucks, etc) 3 days before the shipment date
- To perform any other jobs / duties assigned by the Company
- Keep the warehouse an other areas tidy and clean. Make ready the whole warehouse area for any customer / regulatory audit
- To operates forklift
Requirements
- Candidate must have at least a Diploma or equivalents from a recognizes institution
- Candidate must have at least relevant years of experience in Airfreight, Seafreight, Trucking, Forwarding and Customer Service
- Experienced in warehouse management, logistics or 3PL
- Candidate shall be familiar with Malaysia Customs requirement and documentation especially Bonded and Free Industrial Zones
- Candidate shall be familiar with Freighting documentation such as Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, Shipping invoice and Packing list
- Candidate shall have sound knowledge of Freight and Forwarding operations such as Airport / Airlines operations and Seaport / shipping Lines operations
- Candidate shall be matured and able to work with minimum supervision
- Candidate shall have sound communication and reporting skill and able to handle urgent and important issues via phone, email or any other forms of written methods
- Candidate shall be able to work in Melaka as Yamato representative in the company’s corporate client’s premises
- Preferable with experience in handling outbound/inbound shipping in manufacturing environment
- Must be able to operates forklift
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: RM3,200.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
