Job Description

JOB ROLE

To ensure day to day purchasing and store room operations is managed smoothly and efficiently. To ensure the timely purchasing and delivery of goods to respective outlets within stipulated time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse

  • Establishing and maintaining stock levels based on use rate and shelf life.
  • To ensure on time and accurate receiving, transfering, issuance of material and finished goods to outlets.
  • To conduct weekly and monthly checking of stock (depending on shelf life) by use of computerized equipment.

Purchasing

  • Ensure all products and services are purchased in accordance with company policies.
  • Able to interact and negotiate with manufacturers and vendors in order to receive the best bargain on their products.
  • Regular meetings and discussions with purchasing agents to determine the best price and quality of products and services.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum SPM holder.
  • Able to communicate and read in: Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin will be an added advantage
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, willing to work on Saturdays.
  • Experience in purchasing and stock taking, store inventory management, organized and detail oriented. Preferably those in general retail or F&B Stores.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
