Responsibilities:
How Will You Contribute to the Company?
We are looking for a passionate, self-learner with a can-do attitude to join our energetic R&D team as a DevOps to work on our product portfolio. This role aims to provide all aspects of running a SaaS operation and on-premises installation, including deployment, troubleshooting, dealing with mission-critical errors, and participating in an on-call availability team. Relevant candidates can also take part in the development of the DevOps tools.
What Will You Do?
Become a member of the R&D team that is responsible for the following:
- Ensure HA & stability for the SaaS operation
- Provide 3rd level support for complex deployments (cloud and on prem customers)
- Diagnose complex service issues across a range of technologies and platforms
- Ensure service auto scaling in multiple dimensions
- Lead the optimization process of the product in all levels, from Linux OS, Networks and ending with Docker
- Utilize a diverse range of monitoring tools
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five (5+) years of professional IT experience (especially with Linux Networking, Security)
- Three (3+) years of experience with cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering
- Experience with running SaaS operation
- Experience with security products (Firewall, Web Gateways, Proxies)
- Strong experience in Linux
- Experience with scripting languages (bash, python)
- Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication skills
Bonus Points:
- Three (3+) years of experience with build and deployment tools (helm, Jenkins, Makefile)
- Three (3+) years of experience supporting developers by providing infrastructure, maintaining CI/CD, etc.
- Experience with service mesh (e.g. istio)
- Experience with proxy/firewall eco-system
- Experience with Terraform
- Experience with K8s/Linux in production
- Experience with ELK
- Experience with Ansible
