A Deli Associate assists shoppers at the deli counter by recommending foods, providing samples of meats and cheeses, cutting them with precision tools and weighing packages for sale.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to deli counter customers by answering questions, providing samples and responding to requests
- Recommend, slice, weigh, package and price meats and cheeses
- Preparing special orders and party trays
- Perform Store Associate responsibilities when the deli counter is not busy
Qualifications
Ability to lift heavy items, up to 20 kgs, and operate equipment, such as meat and cheese slicers, scales, cash registers, etc.
- Ability to comprehend and follow all company procedures and regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.
- A courteous and efficient approach to handling customer requests, questions, and complaints.
- Customer service skills (polite and displays positive attitude)
- Ability to perform simple calculations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and busy environment
- Attention to detail is essential for building and stocking displays
- Ability to spend an extended period working in a standing position
- A detailed understanding of products or services solid and the ability to correctly answer customer questions is needed
- Ability to work in a group and contribute to a smoothly flowing experience for all customers

Salary: BD250.000 - BD275.000 per month
